What are CBD patches?
CBD patches are transdermal patches containing cannabidiol (CBD). They slowly release CBD into the bloodstream through our largest organ…your skin. Some people may prefer this over using CBD topically and the patches certainly bring fast relief. CBD patches may be a more suitable option for certain applications, such as targeting certain areas.
How do CBD patches work?
The transdermal method delivers the CBD quickly to the area around the patch, then from there, it works its way into your bloodstream. When people take CBD orally — via an oil or an edible the compound must first pass through the digestive system. The body may then use it & break it down.
They work in a similar way to hormone or nicotine patches, delivering CBD directly into the bloodstream. This gives you a slow steady release of premium CBD throughout your body.
Once you understand how our Endocannabinoid System works (And yes, we all have one!) it all starts to make sense of how CBD interacts with our body.
How long can you keep a CBD patch on?
Our CBD patches are 24-hour slow-release, they contain 20mg of CBD per patch. We chose 24 hours so it’s a simple daily patch so much easier to remember than a 12–18-hour patch! However, many of our customers keep the hapi patch on for 48 hours so they are even more cost-effective! They are showerproof, however, don’t scrub at them!
We also recommend that you move around regularly where you place your CBD patch, to prevent any skin irritation.
What do CBD Patches help with?
The million-dollar question! Without sounding like it’s a superhero…it does help so many of our customers who use them for a variety of reasons.
